Spring Site Updates

by Patricia Eddy on April 2, 2010

Just a little bit of news today on this rainy and windy Friday.

First of all, for all of you Puget Sound area businesses, we’re now offering site sponsorships (aka advertising). We are offering three levels of sponsorship and for the next three months, while we’re ramping up and working out the kinks, we’re offering 25% off posted sponsorship rates. Check out our Sponsorship page for more information. Farmers, food producers, restaurants on our Ethical Meat and Sustainable Seafood List, and farmers market organizations get an additional 10% off posted rates. Cook Local is seen by more than 4,000 local folks every month, with  8,000 local page views, (world wide traffic numbers are closer to 9,000 visitors and 13,000 page views)  in addition to more than 500 RSS subscribers.

Second, over on Seasonal Cornucopia, we’re now offering a new monthly mailing list of all seasonal items available for the current month. The Monthly Cornucopia is a separate mailing list from the main Seasonal Cornucopia mailing list, which has traditionally only been for site news and quarterly updates. So if you want to receive The Monthly Cornucopia, head over to the mailing list page and sign up today! Each item has a direct link to our recipes as well as to the item’s page over on Seasonal Cornucopia.

If you want to cook along with us at home next week, make sure to pick up some nettles and some scallops from the farmers markets this weekend. I can’t wait to share Monday’s recipe with you.
