I don’t sleep well. The number of times I’ve slept through the night in the past ten years is probably less than ten. So when I overheard Wade from Rockridge Orchards say that hops made for a powerful sleep aid, I made a beeline for his booth. We picked up two ounces of hops cones and brewed them with some chamomile tea that very night.
It turns out, Wade was right. While I still can’t say I sleep well, the hops do make for a more restful night sleep. We picked up a very large box for only $10 that should last us well through the winter.
For a restful, natural night sleep, put four hop cones in a teapot with at least one bag of chamomile tea (you might want two, however). Brew for 5-7 minutes and drink about 30 minutes before bed.

Worth a try – thanks! Also in case your readers were unaware, hops can also be placed in a sachet inside of your pillow. The aroma of the hops can help you to fall asleep.
