Honestly, although I’ve never been disappointed by a Tom Douglas recipe, they are often fairly involved and complicated. You all know how I feel about Orangette’s morels. They are one of my great food loves and the entire reason I started eating mushrooms after years of avoidance.I seriously considered just using that recipe with some of our freshly grown shiitakes as well, but a little web searching yielded a slightly different recipe that’s every bit as good. The original recipe came from Epicurious and I adapted it just a bit. I’ll try it with morels just as soon as they are in season (which should be soon).
